In the digital age, content is key. Having a compelling company blog is crucial for building your brand, engaging your audience, and driving traffic to your website. And while there are many platforms available for corporate blogging, Medium has emerged as a powerful tool for businesses looking to amplify their reach and impact beyond their existing blog.

In this post, we'll walk you through the steps to upload your blog content to Medium so you can boost your online presence!
1. Log into Medium.
2. Click “Write” in the top-right corner of the menu.
3. Copy and paste the title of your blog into the “Title” section and the rest into the “Tell you story” section.

Note: Sometimes spacing gets funky with the copy and paste, so please go through and make sure the layout matches the original.
4. Add Alt text to any pasted images by selecting them and clicking “Alt text.” After writing a description, click “Save.”
5. Click the 3 dots to the right of “Publish.” Then click “More settings.”
6. Click “Advanced Settings” in the left column. Then click the arrow beside “Advanced Settings” to expand the menu.
7. If this blog was first published on your own site, be sure to check the box under “Customize Canonical Link”—the one next to: “This story was originally published elsewhere.”

Then, copy and paste your original blog URL into the text field.
Click “Save canonical link.”
8. To get back to your blog content, scroll to the very top of the Story Settings page and click your blog’s title in the breadcrumb menu.
9. Take another look at your blog to ensure everything is as you want it. If everything looks good, click the “Publish” button in the upper right. (Note: It won’t go live quite yet.)
10. A menu will pop up with additional options. We suggest adding up to five topics that reflect your blog’s subject matter.
11. Click “Publish now.” Or, if you’re working ahead, “Schedule later.”

Medium offers a unique blend of reach, engagement, and credibility that can significantly enhance your blog's performance. By leveraging this platform, you can connect with a broader audience, foster deeper engagement with your content, and establish your brand as a thought leader in your industry.
